Pathu Pathu means ten ten is a movie where no hero or heroine will be there. The story takes off when an India verses Pakistan cricket match is in progress. The clock strikes 10.10 at night. An incident happens when the clock strikes “ten ten” at night and six people who are not connected are in a fix. The story is about how they react to the sequence of events. Only five songs, all sung by female singers will be seen in the movie. The songs are sung by singers Vinaya, Sangeetha, Roshini, and ‘Thanjai’ Chinna Ponnu.

The shooting was held in and around Chennai only. The cast includes Sanjith, Sona, ‘Bose’ Venkat, ‘Thalaivasal’ Vijay, Krishna, Asish, Abinaishri, Laksha, Piyanka, Boomika and Manimaran. This film has been produced by Indian Dream Makers. The music has been scored by L.V. Ganesan, son of popular music director L. Vaidhiyanathan. Camera is handled by Sriganesan, editing is by M. Jayakumar. The story, screenplay, dialogue and direction are by Sathyam.

Imsai Arasan 23-am Pulikesi was a smash hit where Vadivelu donned the cap of an hero but his next venture Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan drowned in the deep sea. This made Vadivelu change his mind and decided to stay away from the hero role. But all of a sudden Vadivelu has changed his mind and has accepted to do another film being produced by Abhirami Ramanathan.

This film is said to be the brainchild of director Raju, who had done the popular Vijay TV serial Mayaai Maraichan. Vadivelu will play a con man Singaram who lands in trouble every time he indulges in theft.

Actor Karthik who plunged into politics was sacked from the post of the president and general secretary of the State unit of All India Forward Bloc. Karthik had been expelled from the party for alleged anti-party activities. AIFB general secretary Biswas said Mr. Karthik had failed as the party’s State unit president and secretary to unite various factions and strengthen the party. The party had failed to address people’s issues and no public movement was organised.

It even failed to officially organize any function during the Guru pooja, on the occasion of Muthuramalinga Thevar’s birth centenary celebration. Biswas criticized Karthik for his immature behavior.
