Simbhu was dancing for a song sequence at Pollachi for the film Silambattam. But due to his misfortune he sustained sprain injury in his ankle leading to the cancellation of the shooting. He was immediately rushed to a local hospital where he was administered treatment and was advised for the next couple of days. Silambattam is being produced under the banner of Lakshmi Movie Makers for whom it will be their 25th film. It is also going to be the directorial debut of cameraman Saravanan.

Vaaranam Aayiram audio is yet to be released but a few songs have found the way into the net. But this is not the first time a song goes to the net before its audio release. Ragasiyam, a breezy duet, Adiyey Kolludhey, Azhago Alludhey said to be Suriya’s introductory song in the movie, and a distorted, out of tune Meera Mudiyaamal, all said to be from Vaaranam Aayiram has found its way into the net.

While many other websites too seem to have the mp3 version of the songs, YouTube has a montage of the movie’s stills to go with the audio which has generated huge response from the net addicts. Director Gautam agreed that one of the songs of the movie were leaked from his office over six months ago and later found their way to the internet. Vaaranam Aayiram is actually an adaptation of the Russian film Karakter. Haris Jeyaraj has composed music for this film and the audio launch of the movie is expected in July.

Vetrimaaran who gave a hit film Polladhavan has come up once again with a wonderful script which has impressed Dhanush very much. Vetrimaaran has worked on the script for the last few months.
