Dhaam Dhoom and Jayam Kondan released this week witnessed good opening. Both the films are doing successfully well across the state and in foreign countries. Next week we will have Saroja and Sangeetha starrer Dhanam hitting screens. Perhaps, buzzes are that there would be trouble for the release of Saroja since Pyramid Saimira is releasing the film all over. Since, theatre owners are not refunded with their loss for Kuselan; there may be problems for the release. On September 12, Director Vijay’s Poi Solla Porom would be hitting the screens and it’s a remake of Hindi film Kosla Ka Kosla.

Nayanthara appearing in Bikinis for Billa happened to be the sensational talk during the release of Billa. Telugu Actor Prabas would be playing the lead role in the Telugu remake of Billa. Both Prabas and Nayan acting together in couple of Telugu films had made them very close friends. Prabas feeling that Nayan would be apt to play the same role down there in Telugu approached her. But not taking a long time to answer, she said, “No”. Finally, after going on through various actresses, Prabas zeroed down on Anuksha.
