Naikutti has producer V.Z. Durai making his comeback into the production of films. He had churned out the most successful film ‘Pithamaghan’ and then got himself diverted into other fields of business like Real Estate. Now, more hopes filled in him, the producer has launched his film ‘Nai Kutti’ featuring Prasanna and Nicole in lead roles.

Prasanna breaking his clichéd roles gave us a great surprise with his ‘Anjathey’ as a psychotic person. Well, in this film , he plays the role of a local slum boy and Nicole as flower shop vendor. She made her debut with ‘Adada Enna Azhagu’ that is yet to be released. Santhanam has an important role in this film and shooting has hit the floors of Chennai.

Not so many directors do try with unique stories for they keep beating the same bush. Here comes Vetrivendhan who wants to try something different with the entire film. Earlier ‘Deivamagan’ , the film had to get stuck with controversies, as Sivaji Production rose to the situation uttering that they had earlier registered this title. Then rechristening it as ‘Aadhinarayana’, the film has started rolling along the main places of Chennai. Debutant Gajan plays the lead role while Karunaas takes on the supporting actor. Meera Jasmine stars opposite Gajan in the female lead role while others in the cast include Rajalakshmi, Kuyili, Vijaybabu, Manika Vinayagam, Mayilsami, Muthukalai, Payilvan Ranganathan, Nellai Siva and Sivanarayana Murthy.

Vetrivendhan handles story, screenplay, dialogue and direction. Srikant Deva scores music for the film and it is produced by S Balaji of Box Office Productions.

Drenched with the problem of signing proper call sheets, Meera Jasmine has been facing lots of problems. Meera signed up simultaneously for the projects, ‘Mariyaadhai’ with Vijayakanth directed by Vikraman, ‘Aadhinarayana’ with a newcomer and S Pictures’ ‘Andhapurathu Veedu’ with Nanda directed by Naga.

Due to her inconsistency of call sheets, Naga and Director Shankar got her eliminated of this project. Meanwhile, Actor-Director Thyagarajan has roped her in for his next film, a remake of yesteryear super hit ‘Malayur Mammatiyan’. The original version had Thyagarajan himself playing the lead while his son Prashanth takes the lead in this remake.

Meera Jasmine has been signed for the project despites getting to know about the hurdles she would cause. The only reason is that she has good potentials of rendering good performance.

This sounds quite dizzy, frizzling up your senses. But, not in mere real life that bharath and Priyamani are living together. ‘Aarumugam’ featuring both of them in lead role has imposed such kind of charactrerization in the frame. According to the story, Bharath plays a owner of roadside Idli shop and his only aim is to fulfill his mother’s dream. Living together with his sister Sharanya, Bharath’s only interest is Priyamani and both live together without getting married. This is something clichéd and more times we have seen in many flicks and Director Suresh Krishna uses it for publicity factor.

Bharath needs to compete with a big shop and that’s not possible. So, its gets on the with the direct clash between Ramya Krishnan, owner of the shop and her role in this film will surely enthrall the audiences, says the director.

The film is produced by Cool Productions that earlier churned out ‘Pidichirukku’ and at present, ‘Mahesh Saranya Mattrum Palar’. Suresh Krishna directs the film and his blockbusters like ‘Satya’, ‘Baasha’, ‘Annamalai’ and more are unforgettable.
