Preview – Thiruvannamalai

Banner: Kavithalaya Productions
Production: Pushpa Kandasamy
Story, Screenplay, Dialogues and Direction: Perarasu
Music: Srikanth Deva
Lyrics: Perarasu

Followed by the grand successes of all his directorial including his previous super hit ‘Pazhani’ with Bharath, Director Perarasu is back for a big bang. Kavithalaya Productions in distressed moods can now lie back on easy chair gleefully. The reason could be one fine rigid Perarasu who doesn’t let his producers go bonkers.

Clichéd titles based on religious pilgrimages have been the names of Perarsu’s previous films and it’s not an exception this time. ‘Thiruvannamalai’ is the film’s title starring Action King Arjun in lead role while Pooja Gandhi who made her debut with ‘Kokki’ stars him opposite in the female lead. Perarasu happens to be all time favorite of all producers in the town and even Kavithalaya Productions feels the same.

First half of the film will be happening all over there at the backdrops of Kumbakonam in Southern Part of Tamil Nadu. As the title ‘Thiruvannamalai’ suggests, the second portion of film is placed at the backdrops of the same religious place. Apart from this, the film has been shot at various exotic locations of Swami Malai, Pattiswaram, Thiruvaavadudurai, Thirubhuvanam, Chennai and Jaipur.

Action King Arjun essays the role of a Cable TV operator named Eeswaran leading a jovial life with his friend Karunaas, the sidekick. Sai Kumar takes on the role of a successful politician who has won the position for three consecutive scenes. Once, Eeswaran airs a LIVE telecast of a private video and starts out the trouble.

The film is about an innocent man who misses crusading against evil deeds in the society and eventually decides to lead a peaceful life stepping away from his notions. However, as baddies keep troubling him severely, he tends to lose his family, love, relatives, happiness and peacefulness. Finally, what could be his status and plans to move on forms crux of the story.

As a matter of reality, Action King Arjun always brims up with more stunts. But Director Perarasu stops Arjun with a good break with minimal stunts and more emotions. Thus, letting the film to be a perfect entertainer for all family audiences.

Padmesh cranks camera while Srikanth Deva has tuned melodies to the lyrics of Perarasu. Anal Arasu has choreographed for stunts while V. Jai Shankar is the editor. Pushpa Kandasamy of Kavithalaya Productions has produced this film.

Audio for the film hasn’t made it to good expectations like Perarasu and Sri Kanth Deva’s previous hits like ‘Sivakasi’. However, soon after the release we may expect it to be doing well. Plans are to release the film by second week of December.

Expectations: Commercial Entertainer
