Sundar C is playing the lead role in the remake of yesteryear Rajinikanth hit Murattu Kaalai. The new version titled the same features Sneha in the role played by Rathi, while Vivek dons the role enacted by Surulirajan and Suman in Jai Shankars character.

After shooting a song sequence in the parts of North Chennai, the cast and crew of Rajinikanth starrer Endhiran including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and director Shankar is now in Vellore to shoot some important sequences for the movie.

Just a guest role with Rajini is enough!

It’s so disastrous to see that heroines are so dumped down into pathetic scenarios. Earlier, it was Trisha’s bathroom clipping, Nayanthara’s liplock with Simbhu and now Namitha’s dress changing clippings. Buzzes are that Namitha was changing her dress in her caravan while shooting for Jagan Mohini while shooting at Madurai.

The actress has been making it a point in recent times that she stays in her relatives’ house wherever she is shooting to avoid turmoils in hotel bathrooms. None are aware about cameras being fixed at their bathrooms. However, Namitha who is in Mumbai is shocked to hear the shocking news.

This is something disastrous and should be put to an end….

Why don’t Kollywood producers, directors and actors protest for this issue?

The most expected film of the year ‘Naan Kadavul’ got delayed with its shooting and hence the release date has been postponed to Pongal. Having shot the film for nearly 3 years, Director Bala is sure about winning laurels and so does the cast-crew of this project. It’s so elating for Bala fans that the audio for ‘Naan Kadavul’ would be launched on New Year’s evening at Satyam Cinemas.

The film has Arya and Pooja donning lead roles and they haven’t acted in any other films during the course of 3 years. They are so excited about the film’s release on Pongal. Director Bala urged them dub for their own voices to fetch awards.

Musical Maestro Ilayaraja has scored music and had moved with emotion on certain sequence while working on background score.

Churning out new and innovative themes from each of his films, Venkat Prabhu has started shooting for his next film ‘Goa’. It’s a complete road film where 4 friends together take on for a trip from Chennai to Goa in pursuit of 4 foreign girls. The film has Jai, Vaibhav, Premji Amarana and Aravind Akash donning lead roles.

‘Goa’ is produced as a joint venture of Soundarya Rajnikanth of Orcher Studios and Warner Bros. Through the Hollywood producers, Venkat Prabhu and Orcher Studios are now on trying to rope in Jessica Alba who shot to fame in Hollywood with Fantastic Four series.

The actress has asked to report her the script and Venkat Prabhu has mailed it across to her manager and things would be finalized very shortly. Apart from this, Venkat Prabhu is involved in talks with Sneha and Genelia D’ Souza to play other female lead roles in the film.

If buzzes are happened to be true, Kamal Haasan is in talks with UTV Productions of remaking Bollywood’s super hit movie A Wednesday. Released in 2008, the film featuring Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher in lead roles. However, here in Tamil it has been reported that Kamal Haasan would be enacting the role of Naseeruddin Shah where he performed the role of a hidden man planting bombs across the city.

Malayalam Superstar Mammooty is expected to don the role of a police officer (Enacted by Anupam Kher) who has to trap the man before he bumps of the entire city. The Hindi version was directed by debutant Neeraj Pandey and UTV Motion Pictures leaped with high profits.
