Arya is not producing Vijay’s film

Actor Aarya hasn’t done more numbers flicks like his generation actors of Bharath, Jeeva and others. Perhaps, he has turned to be a multi-faceted personality in film industry as a distributor and now a producer. He has recently launched is production house ‘Show the People’. Earlier, buzzes were that he would be making a film for Director Vijay’s film. But it has been confirmed as rumor and his first production will have Sugu, once an associate of Balu Mahendra making directorial debut.

The entire film will have debutants donning lead role and most of the technicians too. Well, after great requests made by Aarya, Ilayaraja has agreed to score music. It all happened once Aarya was fascinated by Maestro’s stupendous musical score for Bala’s Naan Kadavul.

With Aarya having been completed shooting for Vishnuvardhan’s ‘Sarvam’; he would start shooting for his next film ‘Madrasa Pattinama’ directed by Vijay in February.

Naan Kadavul not for Pongal

Alas! What’s really happening down here with Bala’s ‘Naan Kadavul’? Isn’t he so aware with the fact that delaying a film so longer time will yield adverse results? Maybe, extending the film’s shooting for couple of years doesn’t matter, for there happens to be a detailed work on everyone’s part. But why is it being delayed till the moment for release? Earlier, plans were made to release the film for Diwali and later they postponed to Pongal.

But now it has been confirmed that the film wouldn’t be hitting screens on that occasion. Nevertheless, audio for the film would be launched on New Year evening at Satyam Cinemas.

Ameer to make film sans remunerations

There are few auteurs in Kollywood who are so concerned about their patriotism for Tamil, Tamil Nadu and its peoples. The recent issue of final stage of war between Sri Lanka and Tamil Eelam had rippled their hearts kindling the emotions. Unable to resist their patriotism, both Director Ameer and Seeman had rendered a strong speech that urged Government to push them behind the bars. Well and again, Seeman has been barged into the prisons for another such speech.

However, Ameer is still on the same grounds and has made a surprising announcement. He says, “If producers are there ready to churn out a film on annoying issues of Sri Lankan wars, I am ready to make it without any remuneration”. Also added that if our own Tamilians suffering there, it isn’t a good job to sit silent and watch the cruelty.

Rajnikanth and Ash in Vellore on Christmas

Well, it wasn’t a day of celebrating Christmas for the entire team of ‘Endhiran’ as they were shooting busily. Rajnikanth, Aishwarya Rai and rest of casts were present there for the shooting at VIT College, Vellore…. Since, it was a Government Holiday the college wasn’t working. But sooner, it turned to be a great spot with around 10,000 people leaping in crowds to watch their dream stars Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Both Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai were made to stay at luxurious guest homes inside the campus itself. With Sun Pictures taking over the production works, shooting is extending on extreme pace and film release in December 2009.

P.K. Mishra breathed his last

He was one amongst the best lyricists in our Nation who penned the most exotic lyrical lines for all his movies. P.K. Mishra, the entire film industry loves him for his great contribution and now we all miss him. P.K. Mishra passed away on day before yesterday at 65yrs due to prolonged illness. He has worked with various music directors of different generations. We can say 1990s were some of his golden period and one of his magnum opus for penning lyrics for Mani Rathnam’s Hindi version of ‘Roja’ that happened to be A.R. Rahman’s debut score. Also he has worked with musical maestro Ilayaraja and his son Karthik Raja.

He had been staying in Chennai for a very long time with his family members. He is now survived by his wife and sons.
