Priyamani likes wearing micro-mini and the shortest dresses in market assuming herself to be the alluring missy. But she’s unaware of the fact that none aren’t interesting in appreciating her displeasing looks. However, the actress is always welcomed by audiences when performing an offbeat role. Earlier, for her enchanting performance in ‘Paruthiveeran’, she won National Awards. Again, the actress is sure about winning National Award for the Malayalam film ‘Thiraikadha’ where she enacted the role of Actress Srividya’s real life.
She is so confident that this film would fetch her best accolades. At the moment, the actress is busy shooting for Mani Rathnam’s ‘Ashokavanam’ at Jhansi in Madhya Pradesh. Well, the actress makes her entry into Bollywood with this film. On the pars, she is simultaneously shooting for ‘Aarmugam’ and Telugu movie ‘Drona’ with N.T. Balakrishna.
Looks like, it’s the only film remade in many languages within short period of time. It was all started with Director Puri Jaganath, original script writer and director of Telugu version starring Mahesh Babu in lead role. Later the film was remade by Prabhu Deva starring Vijay and Asin in lead roles. At present, Prabhu Deva himself is filming for Hindi remake in with Salman Khan and Ayisha Talkia in lead roles.
Meanwhile, another remake of this film is set to be done in Kannada. Produced by Duttatreya Bacche, M.T. Sridhar directs the film starring Darshan in lead role and a newcomer would be star him opposite in female lead. Shooting for this film will hit the floors in April and would be completed within a single schedule.
Amidst of big budget flicks with superstars are on the race for getting released this year, there are also other set of movies of medium and low budget flicks on the filming. Dr. Ram, a popular ENT surgeon from Trichy makes his debut as an actor in lead role in ‘Brahmadeva’. The film is produced by Royal Pentagon Enterprises and Dharmalingam is wielding megaphone along with penning script, dialogues and screenplay. Livingston, Alex, Pallavi, Thyagu, Vijaybabu, Mahanadhi Shankar and others are on the prominent roles.
Tejashree after a very long time plays a full-fledged role of female lead role in this film. Muthuraja is scoring music to the lyrics penned by Yugabharathy. Speaking on the film, Dr Ram says, ‘It’s an emotional tiff amongst close friends when they are entangled with love’.
Actress Megha Nair made her debut in Tamil Cinema performing minimal roles and peaked to the female lead pairing up with Sathyaraj in ‘Thangam’. At present, she is busy shooting for the film ‘Poova Thalaiya’ and it’s almost completed. Well, the actress is so slim and sleek now as she is constantly working out in gyms.
Says Megha, ‘Poova Thalaiya is almost completed and I am pairing up with Actor Udhaya. It’s a bold character of a sex-worker performed by me and Udhaya on the role of a gangster falls in love with me. My role doesn’t mean there would be visuals of that sort and everything would be carried on with dialogues. The film is about emotional binding and humanity’.
Speaking on her projects, ‘Software 6′ is my Telugu film that I am presently working on and will soon complete. Over there, I am performing a character with negative shade. My previous film in Telugu titled ‘Deepavali’ fetched me good credits.
Also her Malayalam film ‘Ringtone’ is doing well at box office. Since Malayalam is her mother tongue, she seems to be having more affinity.
