For a very long time, Vetrimaaran has been getting us excited about his forthcoming film. Now, he makes his announcement of the film’s title. ‘Aadukalam’ has been titled that will bring Dhanush and Trisha together for the first time. Earlier, though they had whole lot of offers, they never had right schedule of working together. According to the filmmaker, it’s a film based on a true incident that happened in Madurai few years ago (Don’t know how long filmmakers will keep this reel running that it’s based on a true story). An Anglo-Indian Girl falling in love with a low-caste boy roaming jobless across the streets and problems faced by them from the society.

It seems Dhanush would be enacting a different role (Alas! What can he do exceptionally… It’s sure to be a clichéd one of a jobless, disobedient son falling in love, fighting the baddies – at least there would be minimum of 3-4 scenes of conflict between him and his dad and finally he’s a good boy). With G.V. Prakash scoring music, Sun Pictures has taken the production of this film. It will start rolling from March 22, 2009…

Director Ameer was supposed to start working on ‘Kannabiran’ featuring ‘Jeyam’ Ravi in lead role. But, as he had gone occupied with ‘Yogi’ where he does lead role, the project was shelved… Now with this film getting onto final position of post productions, Ameer has completed penning script for ‘Kannabiran’… Sources have stated that the movie would be launched on March 9 while the film will start rolling from June… Rest of the star-casts are yet to be finalized including that off heroine…. As Ameer had made ‘Priyamani’ to fetch the undreamt awards, many heroines are so curious about working for this film…

Witnessing the most fascinating film ‘Naan Kadavul’, many producers have pleaded Bala to make at least one film for a year. Finally, that has made Bala to launch his next film by 6 months of time.

Recently, Rajnikanth who was fascinated watching this film had his daughter requesting Bala to make a film for Orcher Studios. Yeah! Bala has started penning his next script and sooner the star casts and crew would be announced. Sources have stated that Bala would be paid a remuneration of Rs. 5Crores…

Patently, it was due to these directors cutting out many songs on the screen. Bala’s Naan Kadavul had 5 songs in the musical album. But it was quite disappointing to see on screen merely couple of songs. However, Bala has said that the script demanded for it as they went through further modification of script… Similarly, Mysskin’s forthcoming film ‘Nandhalala’ has brimmed with similar factors.

Though there are 5 songs in the album, only couples of songs have been added to the screens and when you ask Mysskin, he’s there with same reply uttered by Bala. Though Ilayaraja is so convinced with these auteur, the fans haven’t been so… However, maestro’s stunning background score speaks a lot through these films…..

Tell us about yourself?

I had a lot of fascination for photography. So I did a course in photography in Ambitions Four. After this I worked under Rathinavelu. I did my diploma in cinematography in Rajeev Menon’s Institute. I am a cricket player and I have also played for Tamil Nadu State team. Because of my passion for cinema I quit my engineering job.

How was your experience in Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu?

For the first time I saw the village because of director Susindhran. We scouted for locations by traveling in the bike. To give an authentic look I carried the camera in my shoulders. Director and producer gave ne the freedom.

Will you develop a special style for yourself?

I will not develop a special style for myself. I will always journey with the director. I will not exceed the story like Rathinavelu sir. My cinematography will have the shades of Rathinavelu because he is my mentor.

Anjali who captured the hearts of many in the film Katradhu Tamil is currently acting in numerous films.She is busy acting in films like Angadi Theru, Rettai Suzhi, Maharaja and En Kanavu Neete Thanadi. She spoke about the films she is currently acting. She said,” I am doing the role of a computer engineer in the film Maharaja directed by Manoharan who was an assistant to Arjun. I am appearing as an ultra modern girl. You can see a lot of difference. It is a new experience to act with new face Sathya and Nasar.

In Rettai Suzhi I am sharing the screen with the two giants K Balachandar and Bharathi Raja.I always loved to work under them but I am quite happy now because I am sharing the screen with them.I am always grateful to director Thamira who gave me this opportunity. I am conveying my heart felt thanks through the media. I am donning an entirely different role in the film Angadi Theru. I have no permission to speak about this film. I am doing the role of an innocent village girl who comes to the city in the film En Kanavu Neethanadi. New face Ani is pairing with me. Mu Kalangiam is directing this film.”
