Can’t understand, what’s there in a name? Everyone believes to be that India is fast on the verge of making it big across global technology and science and yet there are few specimens who happen to be superstitious. If an actor is unsuccessful, would his change in name get him fortune…? If so, everyone roaming across the studios and producers’ office can do that for becoming a superstar. Well, there are actors who changed their names much before appearing on the screens and it’s more illustrious with Rajnikanth, Surya, Vikram and more… But after acted in around 10-15 films, if one changes his name to be successful that’s something ludicrous.

Here comes one more actor of that sort… Despites being a talented actor with good looks, Jai Akash hasn’t been making good films. Now, with his ‘Adada Enna Azhagu’ slated to hit the screens soon, the actor has changed his name as ‘Akash Jai’. Director of this film Jai Murugan was indeed the man who advised him to do so. He has uttered that Akash Jai would make it big soon after this film and go to greater heights joining the list of today’s leading actors.

Let’s wait and watch will the magic in name works.

As it happened in Tamil Nadu, when Barbers protested against the fact that ‘Kuselan’ will have some of the factors that will degrade Hairdressers, here goes the similar scenario too… With the remake version ‘Billu Barber’ starring Irrfan, Shah Rukh in lead role hitting screens day after tomorrow, the title has been changed as ‘Billu’ now. Hair Dressers Association of Mumbai had met Shah Rukh and stated him that Barber is a specific caste name and one shouldn’t get degraded with this title.

Realizing this, Shah Rukh had said, ‘I never knew that it was a cast name and so just deleted the word from title’. The film is now rechristened as ‘Billu’. The film is produced by Shah Rukh Khan himself under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. According to the sources, it has been heard that Shah Rukh would be playing extended cameo role unlike Mammooty in original version of ‘Katha Parayum Pol’…

None doesn’t know about either director or heroine as only Simbhu’s face has been revealed… Yup! It’s all about the promo of ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’ produced by Escape Artists Motion Pictures and R.S. Entertainment Pvt Ltd… The first picture we had for the promo for like the song ‘Vennilave’ in Minsaru Kanavu… Yesterday, another picture was the exact one of Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koraila in ‘Dilse’ where they are covered with long Red Cloth for the song ‘En Uyire’ sung by Srinivas… Similarly, today morning newspaper carries the still of again gesture of Prabhu Deva and Kajol in ‘Vennilave’ song of Minsara Kanavu. Deeply spotting the pictures, it was found that they were merely the juxtaposing of Simbhu and heroine’s face with the original pictures…

The first picture was fine and yesterday one made us wonder why he does copy and today it turns out to be ridiculous… For sure, Gowtham Menon wouldn’t be making such blunders…We feel so. If things turn out to be unexpected… Sorry Gowtham.

Rahman making history with each and every awards, here goes another prestigious award for one more great personality in the world of music… Zakir Hussain has now won the Grammy Awards as a team of ‘Global Drum’ Project.

The Global Drum was nominated under the category of Best Contemporary World Music Album Category… Zakir Hussain was honored along with his other team members Mickey Hart, Sikiru Adepoju and Giovanni Hidalgo. The Global Drum tour brought Hart, Hussain, Adepoju and Hidalgo together for the occasion of 15th Anniversary…

It before 6 years that Modern Day Mozart made his stunning musical scores on live performance and astounded… Nearly after a long time here we have almost all our Music Directors getting on for a musical world tour. There wouldn’t be anyone unaware about Hindi movie ‘Race’ as Ajith Kumar is keen on remaking it. The Hindi version ‘Race’ had Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Bipasha Basu and Sameera Reddy in lead roles. Actress Padmapriya now performs female lead in a short film ‘Charulathayoda Pappi’ based on a novel with same title penned by Sahitya Academy Winner Priya A.S. The film is directed by Sakthitha and she along with Padmapriya has penned the screenplay. At this time, when actresses feel that being a part in short film is all about spoiling their image, Padmapriya comes up with a statement.
