Rajini fans may dare PMK!!

Superstar Rajinikanth may be engrossed in his latest flick Endhiran but his fans are not about to leave him alone. A section of Rajinikanth Narpani Mandram (Rajinikanth Fans Association) says that it will work against the PMK. “Rajini has made it clear that he will not take any political stance in the elections and he doesn’t want to influence his fans. K Karunaagaran and K Shanthi are producing a film titled Tiruna under the banner Universal Movie Makers. Subash, a new face is debuting as the hero in this film. The selection process for the heroine is going on. Bose Venkat, Crane Manohar, Sindhu, Dheena and Karuppasamy are also in the cast. Ravi M S has written the story, screenplay and dialogues.

He is also directing this film. M M Saravanan has composed the music for the lyrics penned by Kavinaya.

Mathi Yosi is the film written and directed by Nanda Periasamy after Oru Kalloorin Kadhai.

P S Sekar Reddy is producing this film under the banner PSSR Films. He had earlier produced the film Ammuvaagiya Naan,

Vijay Armstrong is wielding the camera while Guru Kalyan is debuting as music composer in this film.

Harish, Alex, Gopal and Vishak are debuting as heros in this film. Shamu is doing the female lead role.

Nanda Periasamy while speaking about this film said, “Right now if you open a newspaper and go through it you will see youngsters posing in the photograph after committing majority of crimes. Some will pose with their head down and others smile. I have got nearly 500 such paper clippings which I had collected for quite some time. Mathi Yosi was created after listening to the stories of such people who committed such crimes.

As per the story four youngsters commit petty crimes but at one point they commit a big problem and escape from the village to Chennai. What happens to these four people after they escaped to Chennai is rest of the story.

New faces Harris, Alex, Gopal and Vishak have been given rigorous training for 60 days . We Regi shot them for 30 days in video camera .

We planned to shoot a sequence featuring 1000 children in a colossal way and it has come out in a wonderful manner. This has made the whole unit happy.

How the four heros meet the heroine Shamu is narrated in a beautiful poetic way.

One can see the story in an innovative way on the screen.

The first schedule of the shooting of the film was completed in Madurai and the second schedule began in the first week of March and is going on.

The shooting of the remake film Palaivana Solai will be completed in a few days. This film is being directed by Dayalan. Nithin, Sathya, Sanjeev, Abhinay, Sathyan and Sams are starring in this film. Karthika is donning the role of Suhasini.

One more character which was not in the original version of Palaivana Solai is being included in this remake version. Director Dayalan is doing the role himself. Sollamale Bobby is composing the music for the lyrics penned by Vairamuthu. The director has planned to honour the actors who had acted in the original version during the audio release of the film.

A Balakrishnan who directed the film about the life of Kamaraj is now directing a film Mudhalvar Mahatma produced under the banner Ramana Communications. While speaking about this film he said,” This film is an imagination about what happens if Gandhi comes back in the present day situation. This has been narrated in an interesting manner. This is not a period film. Kanagaraj who has the looks of Gandhi is donning the role of Gandhi in this film. A film institute student Sundar is being introduced in this film. Mohan is handling the camera. The story revolves around the political scenario and the present day society of the youth. There are no songs in this film. The shooting of the film took place in Tiruporur.

Iswar had designed and erected in Thiruporur, the set of Vartha Seva Ashram which is in Nagpur. The shooting of the film will be continued in Porbandar, Sabarmati Ashram and in the border of Indo Pakistan. The film will be released in Tamil and English on August the 15th.

Vijayakumar is producing a film titled Pournami Nagam under the banner Sound and Claps. Mumaith Khan, Karunas and Nizalgal Ravi and others are starring in this film. Bernard S David is wielding the camera while S A Rajkumar is composing the music for the lyrics penned by Pa Vijay, Palani Bharathi, Tamarai, Viveka and Kabilan.

Yaar Kannan has written the screenplay and dialogues. He is also directing this film. No rituals will be performed in the temples during solar or lunar eclipse but worshipping of snakes will take place during this period. This worship is called Naga Pooja. What happens at the time of this ritual is narrated in this film. Mumaith Khan is doing a special snake dance choreographed by Shiva Shankar. The shooting of this film is to commence next month.
