Shaam pairs up with 9 heroines

Stepping out from the box of clichéd formulas where a smart hero paired up with 2-3 heroines, the filmmakers have increased the numbers now. Actor Shaam has been so lucky with more than two heroines on the screens. His first film ‘12b’ featured him with Simran and Jyothika. Later, his ‘Thoondil’ and ‘ABCD’ had 2-3 heroines paired up with him. And now, the actor would sway with 9 heroines alongside him in his forthcoming bilingual film.

The film directed by Faizal is titled as ‘Sariya Thavara’ in Tamil while the Hindi version is ‘Mujhe Maaf Karo’ (Please Forgive Me). The actresses for this film are yet to be confirmed. It is rumored that a Pakistan based model may be one of the heroines. Shaam has completed shooting for his ‘Antony Yaar’ and his Telugu film ‘Kick’ is close on the heels of completion. Also he has completed shooting for his ‘Agam Puram’ directed by Thirumalai….

Madhya Chennai has all got to do with the slum regions of Chennai. Don’t mistake the film to be a remake of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. Hold on, this is a film that has different notions of the protagonist.

Set at the backdrops of a slum in Chennai, the film is about an youngster from those region who goes onto become a film director. It’s not just his dream, but he does so for the upliftment of the slum-dwellers who aren’t leading a happy life. Prakash Raj plays the role of Guru Dutt, a filmmaker while Jayanth – the newcomer takes on the lead role with debutant Ramya Farna donning the female lead as Jeyanth’s ladylove.

The film is made by duo Vivekanand-Veerasingam who earlier worked with Parthiban, the ducky protégé of Director Bharathiraja. According to the film directors, they have stated that the film has a social message and so relevant to common man would be able to relate to the story.’

The highlight of the film would be Maestro Ilayaraja’s musical score… The film has 6 songs and according to the filmmakers, ever song has come out extremely well. Speaking about Prakash Raj, the duo directors are so excited as they utter that it was a wonderful experience working with him. Well, when it comes about Jeyanth, they say, ‘The newcomer is sure to go gaga over the places…”

Dreams that never turned true

Pretty well titled, isn’t? ‘Edhuvum Nadakkum’ as everyone knows is something about a man who dreams big in his life and never has the opportunity of accomplishing it. But, when the opportunity for it, knock his door, what would be the scenario? This is the entire flick all about. On the pars, the film deals with an individual being forsaken by the entire society and what happens when he changes his mind and course of action? And again, every individual has a secret and that doesn’t get revealed till his death. So what happens when they’re unraveled?

Bounded with all these questions, the film will have lots of twists and turns.

Karthik Kumar who shot to fame with his ‘Vaanam Vasapadum’ and ‘Poi Solla Porom’ plays the lead role. One from arrival from God’s Own Country Aparna Nair makes her debut as female lead while Producer of the film ‘Muruga’ Ramalingam performs the role of Karthik’s grandfather.

K. Mageshwaran handles story, screenplay and dialogues while R. Rosario is wielding megaphone for this film. Raj scores music while Bernard S. David cranks camera. Peter Babiya takes care of editing works. Murali choreographs for the stunts.

The entire filming would be carried across the Kerala’s exotic location called ‘Ecstasy’ surrounded seas in a 150yrs old bungalow…

The film will be bounded with a stunning screenplay that will not let anyone before the screens turn here and there throughout the show…

Shaam debuts in Telugu

Precisely, Shaam is all set to shed his chocolate-boy shades and gear up for an unparalleled role. It’s all about his forthcoming Telugu film ‘KICK’ that marks his entry into town of Tollywood.. Shaam made his debut in tinsel town with ace filmmaker Jeeva’s ‘12B’ that won him critical acclaims.
