Well, it’s gonna be a romantic fiesta bounded with glitz and glamour for Aarya who should’ve been drenched with more and more tough times while shooting for ‘Naan Kadavul’. His forthcoming film ‘Chikku Bukku’ will feature Arya in lead role while debutant Preetika Rao, (the sister of Amrita Rao from Bollywood) and Shriya Charan are starring opposite him in the female lead roles. Followed by the grand success of ‘Dhaam Dhoom’, Media One Global Entertainment produces this film.

Director Manikandan who undertook the completion of ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ after the demise of his mentor Jeeva directs this film. Colonial Cousins, Leslie and Hariharan are composing the music. The shooting of the film has already commenced at Karaikudi. Shooting will continue in Coonoor, Mysore and later in Austria.

When Rahman has won prestigious awards for his best works, there comes Mr. Arun Vaidyanathan who has opened a new trend now. His debut directorial ‘Acchamundu Acchamundu’ has received the ‘Best Homegrown Feature Film’ Award at the Garden State Film Festival in Asbury Park, NJ on previous Sunday. Soon after receiving the award, Director Arun said that it is the crème de la crème collaboration of Eastern sort of storytelling using the best technical aspects of the West.

This independent film was on the make for past couple of years and finally is set to hit the screens here in summer. The film features Prasanna, Sneha and Hollywood Actor John Shea in lead roles.

This is really interesting to hear that a film’s shooting has been completed with 50% within 27 days. ‘All credits go to Kannan, who had a good planning to complete the schedules’ says Producer Dhananjayan of Moser Baer. Similarly, the entire team especially Bharath and Thamannah are so excited about this film. Thamannah says, ‘Though it’s a remake version of Jab We Met, I am sure couple of songs shot till now is more best than the original one. Similarly, there are many innovative motifs introduced by Kannan. He has done a brilliant job by adding freshness to the script and not just remade it”.

Of course, Bharath adds the same statements while Kannan has uttered that both Thamannah and Bharath are so adept in their performance. The film was shot so far at Chengalput, Ooty, Coonoor, Pollachi, Tirumoorthy Dam and locations surrounding these areas. The balance part of the film will be shot in Theni, Pollachi and Chennai in June/July and the film will be completed with that. The film is tentatively planned for release in Sept’09 and the entire production team is working in a planned manner to bring out the film soon.

Finally, Suresh Joachim will set the record of having completed a feature film within 12 days. The smart young lad has already achieved various records in many arena that including the feats of having watched television shows non-stop for 69 hours and 48 minutes; led a music band for 42 hours and 52 minutes; and spent 123 hours watching movies …

Speaking to the media channels, he has stated that the film will start rolling from 13 April at Pondicherry and will be completed by April 25 at 6 PM. He has thanked the entire cast and crew of his film having supported him with good heartedness. Thankar Bachan who directed films like Azhagi , Solla Marandha Kadhai, Pallikoodam and Onbathu Ruba Nottu is now directing a film titled Kalavadia Pozhudugal. This film is based on his novel which depicts a person’s memory of his youthful days. Prabhu Deva and Bhoomika are in the lead roles. There are scenes where E V R Periyar appears and conveys social message.

So Thankar Bachan had requested Sathya Raj to don the role of Periyar. Sathya Raj readily agreed to do this role. So he has tonsured his head to don this role. His scenes are being shot in Mohan Studios in Chennai. A sequence featuring Communist leader Jeeva in May Day public meeting was shot recently. Communist leader Varadharajan was invited to view the shooting. He greeted Sathyaraj who is donning the role of Periyar.
