Anjana wins Vivel Miss Chinnathirai (Small Screen) – 2009

Vivel ‘Miss Chinnathirai’ was held on Saturday evening at Ramavaram’s L’Amicale Club. It was a star-spangled occasion as Small screen’s gorgeous missies and anchors took part in it. Vision Pro Event Management hosted the grand event.

Anjana won the title of ‘Miss Chinnathirai – 2009’, A MBA student and yet gets on anchor in part time. The runners-up were Aishwarya and Ranjini who were felicitated on the dais.
Muruga – Pidichirukku fame Ashok, Blade Dheena, Actress Uma Riyaaz, Fashion Designer Karishma, Miss South Indian Saviya, Riya took part as juries.

Also present for the occasion were Suchitra, Shaam, Suhasini, Vishwa, Bhuvana and many others.

‘Gnyabagangal’ – Follows Bollywood style of promotions

‘Gnyabagangal’ may not be a spellbinding big ticket with A-rated superstars on the title cards. Well, that doesn’t matter when it comes to ‘Good Piece of Art Work’.  Likewise, ‘Gnyabagangal’ is set to kick-start for high-promos across all big cities of Tamil Nadu. The promotion team would be approaching the public and shoot out simple questions.

Fine! Their main intentions are about gifting around 1 Lakh Audio CDs and get the film publicized. Apart from that, the viewers after the show would be handed with pamphlets requesting them to figure their favorite things about this film. Shruthi Haasan launches ‘Kavithai Gundar’ Musical Album

Looks like World of non-filmy musical albums has haunted with its mania in Tamil field too.. Of course, there’ve been many musical albums released in the past that hadn’t gone far-famed across the globes. But now, scenarios have been completely shifted with new ideas. It all happened with Yogi B and his team gearing up for a path-breaking album of ‘Vallavan’. Now, one of his team members have geared up a same alike hip-hop rap album titled ‘Kavithai Gundar’….

The Musical Album comprises of 13 Tracks, featuring 12 artists amongst which the distinct award winning singers have crooned for it. Goes inclusive of Neha Bhasin, Yogi B and Benny Dayal with Malaysian rappers, Mista G, MC Loga and Pysho Mantra spicing up the flavor. A mix of urban hip hop, R&B hip hop, reggae ton, old school flavor, sentimental, patriotic and community songs are the alluring energy in this album.

The musical album had a glitzy launch as Shruthi Haasan, an aspiring young fille in World of Music launched it. One of the artists of this album, Neha Basin made a live performance on the dais and made the occasion more colorful. It’s noteworthy that she was the one who rendered her voice for ‘Pesugiren’ of Sattham Podathey.

SJ Suryah to remake his ‘Puli’ in Tamil

SJ Suryah had to stay in the backyards of tinsel town for a while. Well, you know the reason? Lots of controversies and continuous flops on the row – these were enough to push in the back row for a while. But now, he’s back on the strike of making things better for him. With his ‘Newtonin Moondram Veedhi’ hitting screens on May 1st, the actor has planned up for something big persistently. It’s all about remaking his own Telugu Directorial ‘Puli’ in Tamil.

The actor-director is filming the Telugu version with Pawan Kalyan in lead role and A.R. Rahman scoring music. He has assured that the film would be remade in Tamil at a budget of 18Crores with himself donning lead role. So, would A.R. Rahman score music for it? Uh-huh!! He will do it for his close pal in town.

Sri Devika dubs with her own voice in ‘Gnyabagangal’

There’s something really more interesting Sri Devika. Fine! She loves hop-skipping through the hardest speculations with an ease.

But, it’s not that easy as one perceives and she does it earnestly with her best efforts. The actress has now completed shooting for her ‘Gnyabagangal’ starring opposite Pa. Vijay in female lead role. Uh-huh! Pa. Vijay isn’t just a personality who get-goes with his task and accomplishing it.

A Bus – Important Characterization in ‘Azhagar Malai’

Patently, it isn’t just about stories every day, but off interesting infos… Well, the most exhilarating part of this film was all about Maestro Ilayaraja making his onscreen appearance. Now, there’s yet another interesting fact and that is all about a BUS… How can a Bus be a prominent character in this flick? Of course, for the first time – here’s a BUS being depicted with such importance. Certainly, the entire village where the film is being shot considered the same BUS to be a real life friend.

Once the sources revealed that the film crew is gonna break the bus, they merely hid it in an unknown place. The entire film team had including RK, Baanu, Vadivelu and others had to wait nearly for half a day. Later, as the issue was unraveled to them, they rushed to bus owner to settle the confusions.

Issue was immediately taken to police station, where the film crew promised the Bus Owner that there wouldn’t be any damage to BUS. In case of anything serious to the property, they assured about fixing them perfectly.

Accidentally, the bus was damaged, but producer as assured fixed them properties exactly.

An innovative audio launch for ‘Malai Malai’

So clichéd was it – Launching audios at FM Station and TV Studios. Perhaps, there’s all a change with Arun Vijay’s forthcoming film ‘Malai Malai’. It’s completely based on a novel way that hasn’t been spotted anywhere before. Arun Vijay who’s in need of a desperate hit has spelled his earnest works. Directed by A. Venkatesh, ‘Malai Malai’ is produced by his father-in-law.

So, what’s the change we are gonna witness with this film. Certainly, it isn’t one particular event of launching audio, but in numerous times. Well, the production unit has planned to launch the audio across all the big cities of Tamil Nadu. A best way of promoting a film, isn’t?
