Anushka made her entry in Tamil film by pairing with Madhavan in the film Rendu. After this she became busy in Telugu films and rose to great heights. Her latest film Arundhathi fetched crores of rupees pushing back the films which had super stars in Andhra. This film was dubbed in Tamil and is running successfully till date. Because of this Anushka is coming once again to act in Tamil films. She has been signed to pair with Vijay in the film Vetaikaran. Many more films are being offered to her.

While speaking about pairing with Vijay, she said, “Vijay is a great actor. He can dance superbly. It is a great pleasure for me to act with him. I was made known to Tamil audience through the film Rendu. My dubbed film Arundhathi made me more popular here. This film has earned me a lot of female and children fans. Now I will attract the youth through the film Vetaikaran.”

Namitha has captivated her fans with her glamour and sensuous looks. She has acted numerous films like Engal Anna, Hey, Chanakkya, Vyaapari, Nan Avan Illai, Billa, Sandai, Perumal, Thee and 1077. She is also busy in Telugu film Industry. She is also being frequently invited to inaugurate textile and jewellery shops because she is a crowd puller. Because of her popularity, political leaders are trying to rope her in for election canvassing. She has been invited by Congress party. Simran had also earlier campaigned for AIDMK party. It is also learnt that a huge amount of money is being offered to Namitha for this.

When asked about Namitha about this she said,” There are rumors that the political parties are calling me to canvass for elections. That is true. Congress part has approached me with this regard. But I have refused. My whole concentration will be on cinema. I have no time to indulge in politics.”

Sandhya who made her debut in Tamil film Kadhal is busy in Malayalam and Telugu films. But she says that a film like Kadhal which has a strong story line has not emerged so far for her.

While speaking to the media recently she said,” Kadhal was a turning point for me though I did not have much experience of acting at that time. But because of the story and character was strong I was able to earn a good name. I will act in such characters if I get the opportunity. But so far I did not get such roles. Tamil audiences are more refined. They are not bothered about who acts but if the story is not good they will simply reject it. I have acted in Manjal Veyil which is to be released shortly. This film is about friendship. When director Raja told me the script I liked it very much.

Actually Sneha was supposed to do the role but since she was busy with her other films she was not able to act in this film so I got the chance to act in this film. Raja is a very talented director. Once he got very angry with me because I was late for the shooting. Prasanna and Bala have acted with me. The characters of both of them would be much spoken about. I have also sung a song in this film. I have been signed for Nootruku Nooru, Odi Pogalama and Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam.”
