The facility was inaugurated by his elder brother Satyanarayana Rao Gaekwad on ‘Akshaya Tirutiyai’ . Rajinikanth decided 6 months back to create this facility in memory of his parents Rajojirao and Rambai in Nachikuppam village, 30 km from here. Many of his relatives, paternal uncle are still living in this tiny village. Though it was in Rajini’s mind, the project got shape when one of his fans, Karthik asked him whether he will do this in memory of his parents during the discussion in Chennai last December.
