Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music while Aravind Krishna has cranked camera. Mumbai based model Priya has paired opposite Jai in female lead and Lakshmi Rai is the other actress. The film is set to get released by end of this month as big tickets are awaited to hit screens in the following weeks.

Shaam, the actor known for his charming looks and acting talents has entered Tollywood with a bang through his latest film ‘Kick’.

Directed by Surendar Reddy, the film has Ravi Teja and Ileana as co stars of Shaam.

The film was released all over Andhra Pradesh last week with a fantastic opening and till now it maintains good collection in all the centers. Even in the week days, most of the theaters find 95 percent attendance and the producer and distributors running to banks with their pass books happily!

Shaam’s action scenes get thunderous applause from the audience, as the box office reports suggest.

This is purely a reward for his hard and sincere efforts to create the scenes with perfection.

Remember, few weeks before, when Shaam was injured very badly during the shoot of ‘Kick’, the director and the whole unit advised him to take rest. But Shaam refused for that and continued his till the successful completion of that portion..

After seen Shaam’s performance and dedication in this film, director Surendar Reddy promised him to give his next film.

To keep this promise, the directors now awards his next film to Shaam and give him a big opportunity to perform as a solo hero in this yet to be titled film.

Michael Royappan is producing the film Nadodigal under the banner Global Infotainment Private Limited. Sasikumar, Kanga Karuppu and Ananya are starring in this film. R Kadhir is handling the camera. Sundar C Babu is composing the music and Samudrakani is directing this film. The audio launch of this film was held yesterday. K Balachandar released the audio CD which was received by Bala, Ameer and Cheran. Cheran while speaking on this occasion said,” Now a day’s quality films are being made in Tamil. These films were also well received by the people. All the films have new faces. Audience are also encouraging and supporting new faces. This change is healthy. Samudrakani first told me the story but I made some changes and the whole story changed. So the director found that Sasikumar would be suitable for the role and signed him.

Whatever the director thinks he should bring it out on the screen. He should not change the story for the sake of hero, heroine or cameraman. There should be no compromise on this. The hero of the film is story. Nobody should forget that.” K Balachandar, Bala, Ameer, Lyricist Na Muthukumar, Yughabharathi, Music composer Sundar C Babu, Hero Sasikumar and Samudrakani spoke on this occasion. Cinematographer Manikandan has walked out of Mani Rathnam’s film Ravanan. Mani Rathinam is producing and directing the film titled Ravanan which has Vikram and Aishwarya Rai in the lead. This film is also being made in Hindi also. Manikandan was handling the camera for both the films. 50% of the shooting is over. At this juncture Manikandan ahs walked out of this project. Manikandan while speaking about this said,” The shooting of the film Ravanan was supposed to be completed in March.

But due to certain reasons the shooting has been postponed for some more time. I have already given call sheet for Shahrukh Khan’s film. The shooting of this film is to commence from June. This film is a science fiction. I also have to do a lot of research for this film. After this I will be handling camera for a Hindi film Happy New Year to be directed by Farah Khan. Shahrukh Khan is doing the lead role in this film. Both the films are being produced by Shahrukh Khan. Because I had given dates for the both the films I am not in a position to work in Mani Rathnam’s film, Apart from this there is no difference of opinion between me and Mani Rathinam.”
