After Yaavarum Nalam, Vikram K Kumar will be directing a science film. He said, “The film Yaavarum Nalam directed by me was well received. This film is being screened in Shanghai Film Festival. I am going to China to participate in this festival. I have two stories in hand, out of which one will be science fiction. Such films have not been made in Tamil so far. I have planned to direct this film in a different way.

This film will be made in Hindi and Tamil. Now a days there is no difficulty in getting producers. So I am not rushing. I have planned to spend some more months on stories.”

Shot to much fame with his negative role in ‘Subramaniapuram’, Director Samuthirakkani has now decided not to go for any roles, except much more meaty than this one. With audio for his directorial ‘Nadodigal’ getting launched today, Director Samuthirakkani speaks much on this film that it isn’t a serious film, but an entertaining one. Speaking more, “It’s a film meant from the age group of 16-65years.

The film deals with much reality faced by every individual of contemporary times.” Well, on asking him about which goes easier for him; ‘TV Series’ or ‘Films’? He says, “Making TV series is the toughest piece of task. It requires whole of concentration on best visuals, backdrops and continuation.”

The film is set to hit the screens by mid of June.

Art director Veerasamar is debuting as a hero. Veerasamar has worked as an art director in a lot of films including Kadhal, Dishyum, Veyil and Poo. He has also acted as a brother to Parvathi in the film Poo. Now he is acting as the cousin of the hero Aadhi in the film Saritharam. After this he is being introduced as a hero in a film. Sathish Kumar is directing this film. Ezhlil Vendan is handling the camera. Saajan Madhav is composing the music for the lyrics penned by Na Muthukumar and Priyan.

Veerasamar while speaking about this film said,” This film is about a villager who encounters problems when he comes into the city. I am the hero of this film. I am also the art director film of this film. There is a huge set erected in Karaikkudi. The shooting will commence in a day or two. The film is yet to be titled. New face Amla is pairing with me.”

Director Sasi Kumar seems to be ruling more with his fame in tinsel town at the moment. With his production ‘Pasanga’ doing extremely well at box office, he’s ready to entertain the masses with his yet another film titled ‘Nadodigal’. This time, he takes on the stand as an actor as his close paisano Samuthirakkani directs the film.

Ananya, Abhinaya are donning the female lead roles while Vijay, Bharani and Ganja Karuppu have got prominent roles to perform. The film’s audio will be launched tomorrow, May 18 around 9 at the venue of Satyam Cinemas. Filmmaker K. Balachandar would be the guest of honor with Producers’ Council President Rama Narayanan, Directors Bala, Ameer and yet more celebrities are expected.
