‘Yaar Kannan’ far-famed for spelling best horror films on the screens is back in action. He’s set to make a horror film titled ‘Pournami Nagam’ produced by Vijayakumar under the banner name of Sound and Claps. G Sai Maheswara Reddy is presenting this film as co-producer. Bombshell of tinsel town Mumaith Khan takes on for a glamorous stride on lead role while Karunas, Sampath, Mayilsamy, Nizalgal Ravi, Delhi Ganesh and others are donning a prominent role in this film.

The film was recently launched in grandeur at Prasad Studios. With accordance to film’s title, shooting for the film commenced on the Full Moon Day of last month at sea shore area of Marakaanam. The shooting took place near Azhampara Fort. The shooting of the film took place for the whole night under the full moon light where sequence featuring glamour queen Mumaith Khan and hundreds of junior artists was shot the whole night.

After a very long time, S.A. Rajkumar is back for scoring music and S. David handles camera works. G K is the art director. Raj Kirthi is editing this film. Vijay is in charge of stunts. Tara, Shiva Shankar, Amma Rajasekhar and Ashok Raj are the choreographers of this film.

Resul Pookutty had spelled some of the best works much right from earlier period, but he shot to fame only after fetching Academy Award. Now, he has been invited to grace over various occasions as chief guest. He was present yesterday morning (15th May) herein Chennai for launching the audio of ‘Acchamundu Acchamundu’ at Satyam Cinemas.

Others who were present for the occasion were Veteran director Balu Mahendra, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Karthik Raja who is the music director of the film, Bhavatharini, Venkat Prabhu and Nassar. However, due to busy shooting schedules, none of the two lead actors Prasanna and Sneha were present for the occasion.

A stylishly churned trailer and three songs from the film were screened. Director Arun Vaidyanathan, IT-Tech turned filmmaker makes his debut directorial with this film. He happened to be a perfect host on thanking the great personalities who were present for the occasion…

Well, here are some of the filmmakers who assume they to be Fellini, Almodover wanna delay their projects to the far and most only for publicities. But then, we aren’t sure whether audiences are just looking out for trademark filmmakers, but for best scripts. Selvaraghavan had earlier planned to launch audio for this film on May 24 and has now postponed it after next couple of months.

When asked Selva, he has said “Film’s still lagging behind the designed schedule in post production of graphic and CG Work.” Thusly, he has planned to get the film released somewhere in the end of August and audio by end of June.

Looks like Actor Vijay has lost his all focus on forthcoming film ‘Vettaikaaran’ that has long way to finish and started centering with his 50th film. Every day we tend to get more and more new interesting stories about the developing phase of his 50th film. Finally, producer of the film Sangli Murugan has got the film titled as ‘Urimai Kural’. Ooh! Are you listening MGR fans? ‘Vettaikaaran’, ‘Urimai Kural’ and what else? Vijay has planned to get all the titles of MGR registered for his forthcoming films.

‘Urimai Kural’ was yesteryear’s MGR blockbuster featuring Latha in female lead and Nambiar as the baddie and directed by Late Director C.V. Sridhar. To attract the MGR fans and get himself linked with MGR as he eyes for political grounds, Vijay seems to have landed with such title. Although, buzzes are that Perarasu has been opted to direct the film, there hasn’t been any official announcement regarding this.

The producers of Robot will have achieved their true objective

The film Robot features a dancing android built by the special effects team behind Terminator and Predator and outfitted by a costumier to the stars.
