Our actor, the super-hero of Tamil Cinema has now lost all his hopes on our filmmakers. Even the great ones like Prabhu Deva, Dharani and more off that sort failed to deliver a hit with this successful actor. Now, he has punished everyone by saying that he has no more interests working with these Kollywood pudden-head personalities. All his eyes are on versatile filmmakers like Ram Gopal Varma, Shekar Kapoor, Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra and even Danny Boyle has been provided with an opportunity to direct his film. Will these filmmakers catch this memorable dreamt project is what that has been creating ripples of sensation on the far-flung corners of the globe.

GV Films Limited had filed an appeal against the Income Tax Department and Mr. and Mrs. Lissy Priyadarshan at the Supreme Court about Priyadarshan’s control of the one-time “good luck theatre”, presently known as “Four Frames” located at Nungambakkam. The property originally belonged to M/s Sujata Films Private Limited. This was purchased by Mr. S. Priyadarshan and his wife Mrs. Lissy, through a public auction conducted by the Income Tax Department for recovery the Income Tax dues of M/s Sujata Films Private Limited. Sujata Films Private Limited was owned by Late Mr. G.Venkateshwaran and his wife Mrs. Sujata. Justice S.H. Kapadia and Justice Aftab Alam of the Supreme Court of India have confirmed the sale of the Prestigious Theatre in favour of Mr. and Mrs. Lissy Priyadarshan.

The Supreme Court declared the Judgment of the High Court, Madras confirming the sale of the theatre. It was found by the Court that there was a clear case of collusion between GV Films Limited and Sujata Films Limited to deprive the Income Tax Department of tax arrears amounting to more than 19 crores and also to prevent Mr. and Mrs. Lissy Priyadarshan from taking possession of the property. The Courts had also found that M/s GV Films has been set up by M/s Sujata Films Private Limited to wage a proxy war against the Income Tax Department and Mr. and Mrs. Lissy Priydarshan.

Nakul who made his debut in Kadhalil Vizhundhen is the brother of actress Devayani. Currently he is acting in Masilamani and Kandakottai. Sunaina who paired with him is also pairing with him in Masilamani. There are rumors that love has blossomed between them. When Nakul who was dancing with Sunaina for the song sequence for the film Masilamani at AVM Studios was asked about his affair, he said,” There is no truth in the rumor that I am in love with Sunaina. We both are good friends. We discuss a lot about cinema. Since our pair was good in the film Kadhalil Vizhundhen, they have made us act in Masilamani. There is no love between us. I do not love any one. I have got to prove my mettle in cinema. There are also allegation that I am coming late for shooting and that I am trying to sideline Simbhu and Jayam Ravi. All these are false allegations. I am very punctual for shooting. Jayam Ravi and I go the same gym. We are very friendly. My sister Devayani is very encouraging and motivating me. She has advised to me to keep up my acting as I did in Kadhalil Vizhundhen. Now she is producing a film. If she requests me to act in her film, I will definitely act. My role model is Ajith and Vikram. My character is very strong in Masilamani. The story is also different. Kalpaathi Agoram is producing this film.”

Director R N R Manohar who is directing Masilamani said,” This film is a romantic film which will entertain everyone irrespective of their ages. There is innovation in the screenplay. There are five songs and two of them is being shot in foreign locales.”

When every missy in town loves wearing the modern costumes denying the Tamil Culture, here’s the actress who has been drawn unboundedly to these cultures while filming for ‘Yaadhumaagi’. The film features debutant Sachin-Sunaina in lead roles and R. Balakumar wields megaphone. Ponnurangam produces the film under the banner of Chozha Creations.

Actress Sunaina on this film has said that she accepted the offer once filmmaker narrated the script. The character was so close to her and the film unravels the binding relationship between father-daughter. “Earlier I felt bit difficult wearing the traditional costumes of Paavadai Thavani and now I am comfortable with this. I’ve got to learn more culture and traditions of Tamil Nadu during the film’s production work” added Sunaina.

Yup! The actor has jumped up high all the way with good success of ‘Thennavattu’ and ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’. Much excitedly, he’s gearing up for yet another commercial movie titled ‘Singam Puli’. Divya Spandana of Vaaranam Aayiram stars him opposite in female lead role… Directed by Sai ramani, the film is set to be a pakka commercial entertainer with more focus to be pulled towards B and C centres.

Abundantly, there would lots of fights, romance, comedy, glamour and Kuthu songs… Though nothing has been revealed about the storyline, it’s so evident that when Lion and Tiger are together, it’s gonna be a blast of unexpected twists and turns.

The long awaited film of the season, Kandasamy will have its audio launched on May 17 at Chennai Trade Centre. The entire premises would be spotted in grandeur with look of fiestas. According to Producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu, he says, “This would be the ever biggest audio launch of the era for the big ticket. Around 40 dancers from Italian group would be shaking their legs with Vikram and Shriya Charan. As well both of them would be crooning for the heart-binding song ‘Excuse Me Mr. Kandasamy’.”

Apart from these crème de la crème entertainments, Devi Shri Prasad has planned to pick on with few numbers including the title song of this film.

Sun TV would be telecasting the entire programme in LIVE and Sony BMG has picked the audio rights of this film…
