Director K.S. Ravikumar is well-famed for his stunning directorial style. He happens to be one the perfect filmmaker who just sways completing his film’s shooting within scheduled dates. At the moment, he is fast on the floors of Surya-Nayanthara starrer ‘Aadhavan’. Couple of schedules have been completed and he doesn’t let a word out about this film. When asked about this film, he said “Please don’t ask anything about Aadhavan. First let my film ‘Jaggubhai’ release and then we’ll discuss about this…”
Looks like ‘Jaggubhai’ would be much more interesting in its concept than ‘Aadhavan’ and that’s more illustrious about his reply. Or else, producers of this film should’ve insisted him not to speak more on Surya’s film as it would lessen the expectations for ‘Jaggubhai’ starring Sarath Kumar and Shriya Charan in lead roles.
Actor Vikram has pinned to rock higher with successful colors on his forthcoming couple of projects. With Mani Rathnam’s ‘Raavan’ getting him on the last legs of schedule, his protégé Susi Ganesh has got ‘Kandasamy’ completed. As everyone in the film’s crew revealed Kandasamy is a superhero film, Vikram was questioned whether it would be equally enhancing as Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Krish’.
Immediately, the actor came up with a statement, ‘Krish is nowhere near Kandasamy. It was a ridiculous film made with merely top-notching technical aspects. But here, we have focused on both narrative as well technical vistas. They’re sure about mind-boggling the audiences…”

Actor Nanda made his debut in Tamil Cinema with ‘Mounam Pesiyadhe’ and has completed 6 films on the release. At the moment, he has signed for a two deal film with Director Shankar’s banner of S Pictures. First, he was roped in for ‘Eeram’ directed by Shankar’s associate Arivazhagan started rolling on the floors.
Much impressed with Nanda’s good work, Director Shankar and Arivazhagan roped him in another film ‘Anandapurathu Veedu’ directed by Marma Desam fame Naga. Shooting for the film is fast approaching towards completion and will be released shortly within next couple of months.
PL Thenappan of Sri Rajalakshmi Pictures has raised himself to the international standards now. Aye! He has produced a short film titled ‘Ecluse’ meaning ‘Water Barrier’ that has been officially screened at Cannes International Film Festival. The film is about busy parents bounded with their respective tasks failing to give importance to Child’s life. The parents neglect the child’s importance trying to put the task on each other assuming to be a hurdle than a duty. One day, teacher notices that the child isn’t doing good in its studies and calls forth for their parents. Will the child be given a complete care forms crux of the story.
Mahendran Bhaskar has directed the film penning screenplay and scoring music. Mahendra Bhaskar himself has performed the lead role along with other two Elmoden Nassima and Abinaya Kaneshtampaia.
With Karan’s ‘Malayan’ ready to hit the screens shortly, he has started shooting for his next feature. The film titled ‘Thambi Vettothi Sundaram’ is produced by J. Senthil Kumar under the banner of 24 Frames. As the title goes, the film’s conceptualization would be completely different and unparalleled.
It’s a double-hero subject with Karan being the one while ‘Story’ as the other one. It’s not a film based on true incident, but an exact replication of it.
All throughout the Tamil Nadu, Kanya Kumari happens to be the district where there are more literates. According to the statistics, it is the same district bounded with more criminals. Director V.C. Vadivudaiyan has planned to film his own experience of certain incidents on the same spots where it happened. P. Raghavan who has penned dialogues for this film moved to the same locations for getting clear-cut picture.
Music Director Vidhyasagar has roped in the traditional music group of the same district for bringing the natural feel of that ambience. Vairamuthu will be penning lyrics to the the song while Anjaneyalu cranks the camera. Suresh Urs takes care of editing works. Kanal Kannan has choreographed for the stunts. V.C. Vadivudayan has crafted story and screenplay.
First schedule for this film has been already completed across the regions of Kerala border…
