A R Murugadoss will be directing Shahrukh Khan in a Hindi film which is yet to be titled. Mostly this film could be a remake of Tamil film Ramana. After completing Stalin, a Telugu film which had Chiranjeevi in the lead Murugadoss met Rajnikanth and narrated him a story. Rajnikanth was impressed with the story. So there was news that Rajni will act in Murugadoss film.

When asked about this Murugadoss said, “It is true that I had narrated the story to Rajnikanth. But now he is busy with Endhiran and I am also busy with Shahrukh film. I may get the opportunity to work with Rajni after these projects are completed. My ambition is to direct Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan.”

On May 24 Sunday, South Indian Artistes Association had a meeting on the occasion of 56th annual meet. President of the association has announced that elections for this year would be held on July 12 and those willing to file their nomination can go ahead on between 10 AM of June 15 till 5 PM of 18th.

Also issues regarding raising new building for Artists Association as well commencing School of Acting were discussed. Apart from this, Sarath Kumar strongly stated that those actor and actresses who haven’t been a part of association must register their names immediately.

‘I wouldn’t perform role of mother. I won’t act in films with dual heroines.” Any filmmakers approaching Divya Spandana should be aware about this before approaching her. On the buttons, Ramya who later rechristened herself as Divya Spandana has got more projects in hands. As she won laurels for her good show in ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’, she has almost completed shooting for ‘Kadhal 2 Kalyanam’ and has signed for Jeeva’s ‘Singam Puli’.

‘You may come with a smart question why then I acted in ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ though it was a double-heroine subject? Although, it was off that sort, my characterization had more prominence during latter half. I am not so aged to enact mother’s roles. Herein ‘Singam Puli’, I am offered to perform the role of Cell Phone salesperson.”
