Vettaikaaran shooting in AVM Studios

Actor Vijay is so keen on adapting the tactics of Superstar MGR in all his forthcoming flicks and that’s more illustrious with titles. ‘Vettaikaaran’ is fast on the heels of getting completed with all schedules. Recently, particular film sequences between Vijay and Anushka was shot in AVM Studios. Security Forces were so strong that none of the local fans could get inside.

Much incisively, one of the insider on set decoration team revealed that Vijay appears as riding a white horse resembling much alike in the get-ups of MGR. Much fascinated with the get-ups, Director Babu Sivan has included the horse-riding sequences in more scenes.

Renovation of Kamala Theatre: Star-spangled occasion

One of the most renowned theatres of Chennai ‘Kamala Theatre’ has been renowned now. the reopening of this theatre had the presence of prominent actors in tinsel town as well politicians. D. Napoleon, Union Minister of State was so elated on witnessing the single screen has been now converted into two single screens rather than being a shopping mall.

Mayor Subramaniam was much excited watching the slide shows of keeping away the garbage clean. Actor Kamal Haasan who made a surprise visit stated that Sivaji Ganeshan had advised him not to copycat what he had done, but go for a step ahead. Information Minister Parithi Illamvazhuthi, actors Vijay, Vivek, Manorama, film producer AVM Saravanan, and Additional Director-General of Police R.Sekar were also present for the occasion and thanked the owner Chidambaram for sustaining the greatest theatres in town.

Deva strains himself a lot for ‘Law College’

Don’t imagine that Deva has scored theme song for ‘Law College’, it’s all about Suriyan Satta Kalloori. Normally Deva takes 10 days for composing the back ground music for a film. But now he has taken 21 days to compose the back ground score for the film Suryan Satta Kalloori. This is the first time he has taken to compose music for a film.

New faces Ghajini and Mithra are in the lead roles. Pawan has directed this film. Shiva Shakthi Pandian has produced this film. Deva has so far composed 9 films produced by Shiva Shakthi Pandian. This will be the 10th film for Deva produced by Shiva Shakthi Pandian.

Aadhavan team flees to Iceland

After grandiosely churning out Vijay-Trisha starrer ‘Kuruvi’, Udayanidhi Stalin is back in town producing another big ticket titled ‘Aadhavan’. Produced under the banner of Red Giant Movies, the film has Surya and Nayanthara in lead roles with veteran ace actress Saroja Devi performing a prominent role. Vadivelu takes on for adding to humor quotients while the film has prominent actors Murali, Anand Babu, Fefsi Vijayan, Ramesh Khanna, Shayaji Shinde, Rahul Dev, Mano Bala, Erode Soundar (scriptwriter for various projects of KS Ravikumar).

Shooting for this flick is fast on heels and recently the film crew completed a schedule in Chettinad Palace. A song with 200 junior artists was extensively shot and few talkie portions too. Now the team has its flight to Iceland for shooting a song ‘Eno Eno Panithuli’ (Penned by Thamarai).

Precisely, this is the first Indian film to be shot at the exotic locations of Iceland where earlier James Bond flicks ‘A View to Kill’ and ‘Die Another Day’ was shot. The song would be shot in just 10 days with Dinesh choreographing for it.

Don’t worry! Rakhi Sawant is there

Earlier, it was much distressing to hear that censor board officials had simply did the –Cut Works – on ‘Muthirai’ vividly. Nonetheless, when censor board officials revealed that there are around 6 cuts with couple of songs including the sizzling dance of Lakshmi Rai and Rakhi Sawant, things were breaking loose out of control.

The entire town is flooded with Rakhi Fever who has now really made Namitha and other item song dancers to be careful on their notes. Now, it has been confirmed that item song by ‘Rakhi Sawant’ hasn’t been deleted and will be one of the highlighting feature. As the film contains more violence and bloodshed, the censor board officials had to cut those sequences.
