Satya Jyothi Films is well known for making good films right from over a long period of time. After the success of ‘Jeyam Kondan’, the producers have shored on the production of ‘Baana’ – the film that marks the debut of Actor Murali’s son Adharva on lead role. Much before the filming would be over, Producer Thyagarajan has announced about the next film titled ‘Vaana’.
This film has Prasanna-Sneha in lead roles and according to the closer sources, they were chosen due to the reports suggesting best onscreen chemistry between them in ‘Acchamundu Acchamundu’. Meanwhile, Prasanna and Sneha are eagerly anticipating the release of ‘Acchamundu Acchamundu’ ready to hit the screens in July.
With an exceptional attempt, 10 film directors acted together for ‘Maayandi Kudumbathar’ that turned to witness good results in box office as well amongst the audiences. Precisely, some of the filmmakers who did acting in the film came up with a bold statement, ‘We don’t need any big stars to get our films leading successfully. Because, Content is King’.
Sooner, as some of the leading actors in town were really frustrated with their statement, they have decided not to be a part of any of these filmmakers’ projects. That has really the other filmmakers who never made any comments blown out of waters.

Lyricist Pa. Vijay’s debut film as a protagonist is titled as ‘Gnyabagangal’. The film is ready to hit the screens by this weekend. Meanwhile there’s great news for the entire team as the film goes for the dubbing of Korean version. Speaking about this, Lyricist Pa. Vijay has stated, ‘Usually, both the culture and making style of Films goes hand-in-hand similar between Korea and Tamil films.
One of friend related with Korean Film Industry Penang reported about my film to Producer Moon Louie who has produced by various Korean World Cinemas including ‘Road James’. Once, they saw the first copy of this film, they were really awe-inspired and came forward to dub the film in Korean Language. Sooner, the other details about the film’s release in Korean version would be announced soon…’
The only river which does not originate from the mountain is River Vaigai. Similarly this is the only river which does not converge into sea. Vaigai is the film which is based on this theme. This film is a real incident which took place in a village near Thirumangalam. New faces Bala and Visaka are in the lead roles. As per the story Bala is the son of the Panchayat President and Visaka is the Post Master’s daughter. Love blossoms between the two. But due to the social status they are not able to unite. The climax scene was recently shot in Vandapuli village.
Two thousand villages along with the actors participated in this shooting. L R Sundrapandi has written the story, screenplay and dialogues. He is also directing this film. P P G Kumaran is producing this film. The song Ayiram Thamarai from the film Alaigal Oyvadhillai is being used in this film in the original version itself. Sai Kumar, Kanga Karuppu, Thalaivasal Vijay, Thennavan, Singamuthu and Shyam Sundar are also starring in this film.
Vasan Karthik who is the son of Actor Singamuthu is doing the lead role in the film titled Sankara. Two heroines Archana and Stephy are madly in love with the hero Vasan Karthik. They both enter the Vasan’s bedroom at the same time. This titillating sequence was recently shot. Another sequence wherein Vasan Karthik saves Kannada actor Devaraj from the goons of villain Dhandapani was also shot.
R K Viswanathan and Na Pugazhendi are jointly producing this film under the banner Sree Periyanayagi Amman Films. T Kaviarasu is handling the camera while Srikanth Deva composes the music. Rajkannan writes the story, screenplay, dialogues and is also directing this film. The film which is progressing as per schedule has Kanga Karuppu, Singamuthu, Nellai Shiva and Crane Manohar also in the cast.
