Why Thalaivar’s films not released on his birthday ?

Very recently a fan asked me, ‘was there any film released on the Birth day of our Thalaivar Rajini?’ Immediately I had gone through the movie data base of Rajini. What a surprise… among all the 150 plus films, no film was released on the prideful birth day of Rajini. In his earlier days, some films like Balu Jenu (Kannada – 10.12.76), Galatta Samsara (Kannada – 2.12.77), En Kelvikkenna Bathil (Tamil 9.12.78), Justice Gopinath (16.12.78), Priya (22.12.78), Murattukaalai (20.12.80) were released in the month of December.
