Director Bharathi was far-famed for having made great directorials like ‘Thottil Sabadham’, ‘Rayilukku Neramaachu’ and ‘Chinna Kanavu’. It’s been a great long gap and now the director makes his comeback with a film titled ‘Ambu Kuri’. He isn’t just directing the film but as well produces the film as a joint venture with A.V. Yuvaraj Prasad. The film is based on an orphan girl who is so finely pampered by her close relatives.
But, her life is deteriorated when relatives receive a strange letter with arrow mark imprinted on it. On the very next day, they’re victimized to death. As the relatives start getting mysteriously killed one by one, the girl has to unravel the mystery. Would she be able to do so? Who’s the mysterious person behind the murders and what are the intentions urging to do forms crux of the story? Angitha does the girl’s role while Sri Deva makes his debut on lead role while Kadhal Dhandapani performs a prominent character in this film.
