The film is produced by Mohan who also happens to be Arun Vijays father-in-law.The Malai Malai team launched a calendar that has been designed with numerous stills from the film. Among those who were present on the occasion were lyricist Vaali, actress Sridevi, director Hari, Abhirami Ramanathan, actor Vijayakumar and many more.
